About Me

My name is Christine and I have taught children piano for a long time.  My accreditation include ARCT diploma, RCM in 2003; B.F.A. in music, SFU; ECE (Early Childhood Education). I taught for 20 years and paused during the Pandemic. During this time, I focused on building my other business and raising my kids (also teaching them piano too!). Now I am ready to resume teaching again.

Teaching

My home studio is located in South Burnaby close to Nelson Elementary school. I provide piano lessons for children 5 years old and up. The learning atmosphere is positive and relaxed. My teaching style is gentle but firm at the same time. My goal has always been about bringing out the enjoyment and confidence in them in the most efficient way possible. Most of my students stayed and learned for years.

Piano Accompaniment

Certain instrument exams (such as violin) require pianist accompanist. Rhythm is one of the most important thing to work on in order to play in sync. Travel fees apply on the exam day.
